Monterey Peninsula Foundation is the 501 (c)(3) that stages the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and
the PURE Insurance Championship Impacting The First Tee and disperses the proceeds from these two tournaments to charity.
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
One of the most exciting events on the PGA TOUR, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is contested annually on three of the Monterey Peninsula's premier golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course in front of over 150,000 spectators and millions of television viewers. Since its inception, Monterey Peninsula Foundation has given millions of dollars to organizations in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties. In the 2015/16 fiscal year, the Foundation donated $10.8 million to support local nonprofits in the tri-county area we serve.
PURE Insurance Championship Impacting The First Tee
The PURE Insurance Championship is a PGA TOUR Champions tournament played annually at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. The tournament, impacting The First Tee, is a 3-day, 54-hole event featuring 78 PGA TOUR Champions players, 78 junior golfers (ages 15-18) from The First Tee and 156 amateurs.
